Hello everyone,  welcome to my blog. My name is Ikeoluwa and I will be writing about what I learnt this week 02 in intro to Entrepreneurship Bus 110.

This week from the material  "Stars and stepping stones: Some choices only come around once" by Jeff Sandefer, I learnt a lot. I understood the meaning of a star with his illustrations using the teacher who helped his student become happier.  When you do what helps the world you are a star.


I also learnt how I can be a star. Life is a journey and you must live an aimless journey.  I should have a focus and a vision that will give meaning to my life. To be a start , I have to figure out what is important to me in life and what will remain important to me. I have to learn how to make choices that won't affect other things on my life. I have to picture myself at a certain age and what I hope to achieve at that particular age, what I picture myself doing at that age and what should be said of me at that time.

I learnt that if I have the thought that I don't know how to plan my life, I should examine why life is worth living, and I should be true to my values and dreams. I should read books on literature and philosophy, I should spend some quite time alone. I should reexamine fundamentals of my religion and question. I should ask people questions like what they cherish most about their lives.


I understood that stars and stepping stones are for finding purpose in life and for me to understand what is fundamentally important, setting goals, arranging those stepping stones to reach those goals and making course corrections when reality intervenes. With this is can develop a view of the world and a place for me to establish myself in it. I can set balance priorities in it.

I learnt a great deal this week and I already started applying it to my life in other to help me determine how to spend my life and how I can be responsible and how I can change the world.

W08 Overcoming Challenge

  Hello everyone, this week I learnt about how I can overcome challenges especially in my business and career and I will be sharing few of the things I learnt. I learnt that I will face some delays and disappointments at this formative time in my life and feel that no one else in the history of mankind has ever had my problems or faced those difficulties and when some of those challenges come, I will have the temptation common to all to say, “This task is too hard. The burden is too heavy. The path is too long.” And so, I might decide to quit, simply to give up but I should not give in to the thought.  Hello everyone,  Welcome to my blog.  Today I will be reflecting and describing what I have learnt this wee in Introduction to Entrepreneurship. The material living life as an hero thought me that to begin my journey as an entrepreneur, I have to firstly dream big, according to Daniel Burnham, " Make no small plans, for they have no power to stir the blood'. In order words, to start I have to dream big and not small, i have to picture myself going big in future.
